Teacher’s Day Celebration

Every year Lourdes convent high School celebrates “Teachers day” whole heartedly, with a deep sense of gratitude for its teachers. This year it was none other than one very joyous and entertaining program. As the new team for the council stepped up, they brought along a sense of service and strokes of creativity in their duties.  As the teachers made their way to the cultural hall they were gifted with roses, bookmarks, pens and greetings all the way.  A newspaper titled “INK OF GRATITUDE” was distributed expressing the students respect and gratitude for the teachers. A deep sense of honor was seen on every teacher’s face which was a great motivation for the students. The event began with a divine prayer asking for the almighty’s blessings. Students showered the teachers with their holy intentions asking the best for their teachers from the lord. Then came the main event. As the MC’s lead the program with energy and zeal, the teachers were deeply touched with the dances and the skit showcasing the importance of a teacher in a student’s life. Every soul was touched when a video was played referring Teachers, admins, helping teachers, sisters and finally every teacher as “stars who shine for you”. The cake cutting ceremony made every teacher’s heart just as sweet as honey elevating their mood a little more.  Then the new student council dance with an energy everyone felt. At the end we could see a smile on every teacher’s face as a sign of honor. Truly, Dr. Radhakrishnan has the best descendants in Lourdes Convent High School.
